Dolphin Fountain
This is the Dolphin Fountain at Sarasota Harbour. This was taken just as the sun began to rise over the apartments at the harbour.
Moon and Canoe
Another image from Sarasota. This was taken just before sunrise. The moonlight shining through the pink clouds drew me to this image.
Aberfoyle
Another 4.30am rise yesterday. As the weather forecast was promising fog and mist early in the morning, I thought I would take a trip up to Aberfoyle for the sunrise. I managed to capture this shot as the sun tried to break through the mist.
The next shot was taken looking over Loch Achray towards St Johns Church. The swirling mist made the church appear and disappear minute by minute. This has created a nice natural vignette to the image.
Loch Trool Sunrise
Todays archive post is once again from an area that I have visited a few times. This is Loch Trool, near Newton Stewart in Dumfires and Galloway. This was taken after sunrise with the sun just breaking through the clouds and the early morning mist hanging around the still Loch.
Sanibel Lighthouse
Todays archive shot is from our 2007 trip to Florida. This is Sanibel Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Large parts of the island are a nature reserve and the rest of the island is strictly controlled so as not to be over developed.
