Fairy Pools
Day 6 A 5am rise saw us head for the Otter Haven at Kylerhea. After parking the car, a forest track leads to the viewing cabin. Unfortunately the cabin is some distance away from the waters edge. This meant that there was no chance of close-up photography even if we did spot any otters. We [...]
Dunscaith Castle
Day 5 We decided to take a trip down the Sleat peninsula. We spent some time exploring the ruins of Dunscaith Castle or more properly known as Dun Sgathaich (Dun of the Shadow). The view over Loch Eishort towards the Cuillin was well worth the trip too. This is a three image panorama.

The whole of the Trotternish Ridge escarpment was formed by a great series of [...]

Broadford Bay Sunset
Day 3 Continued… Seeing as we had returned quite early from the Applecross trip, I decided to go out for the sunset. I walked down to Broadford Bay and scouted out some shots for the sunset. The two here are the ones that I liked the most.
