Ardrossan Sunsets
by admin on May.26, 2009, under Landscapes
Another trip through the archive. This post was inspired by a recent comment regarding Ardrossan sunsets. I realised that a lot of them were either sitting on my hard drive or on my pbase site. So here are another 2 or 3 old images from the great summer of 2006.
The Old Ship.
Stoney Ground.
Golden sunset.
Sunset at Corbiere
by admin on May.16, 2009, under Landscapes
Another shot from Corbiere lighthouse. Loads of great opportunities for sunsets here make it a very photogenic and popular location.
Glen Trool

A picture from a couple of days ago. We went for a walk around the ‘Rig of the Jarkness’ which is a ridge up in the hills above Glentrool. There wasn’t much to show from the walk, photographically speaking, apart from this panorama looking down Glen Trool towards Loch Trool.
Corbiere Lighthouse again

This shot is another from last years trip to Jersey. This is Corbiere lighthouse. Once the tide goes out you can walk along the causeway to the lighthouse. The receding tide leaves loads of interesting rock pools with lovely colours enclosed in its pools which make perfect foreground interest to contrast against the brilliant white of the lighthouse.
Corbiere Lighthouse

Todays archive post is from last years trip to Jersey. This is Corbiere Lighthouse, one of Jersey’s most photographed locations. This shot was just recently processed by myself during a browse through my old raw files.
I thought it was worth the effort to bring this back from the archive.
The Lone Tree, Glencoe
by admin on May.01, 2009, under Landscapes
Todays archive post is of a shot that had lain forgotten on my hard drive until today. This lone, dead tree has been photographed many, many times before. If you catch it in the right light the results can be very pleasing.
